Ministry planning doesn’t always happen during office hours. With “Send later,” you can write emails or texts when it works for you—and have MSP deliver them automatically at the right time.
How to send an email later
Go to the Announcements pane.
Ater previewing your email, select the option to Send later.
Choose the date and time you’d like the email to be delivered.
Click Schedule.
Your announcement will now be sent automatically at the time you selected.
Top Reasons to Use "Send Later" for Announcements
Ministry planning doesn't always happen between 9 and 5.
Write texts or emails when it works for you—and let MSP handle the delivery.
Here are just a few ways this added flexibility is helping real parishes:
-
Plan ahead for busy seasons
Draft Christmas or Holy Week messages early and have them sent automatically. -
Send thank-yous at the right time
Schedule a Thanksgiving or New Year's note to volunteers—even if the office is closed. -
Log off during your time off
Finish announcements ahead of a day off without needing to log in later. -
Write when inspiration strikes
Compose a message in the evening or on the weekend and schedule it for a better send time. -
Celebrate meaningful days
Prepare a message for the church's anniversary or patron saint's feast for delivery on the actual day. -
Align timing with other parish communications
Schedule your MSP announcement to hit inboxes with the bulletin or weekly email for top visibility.
