Custom fields can be used on the My Profile tab and Enrollment forms to collect information from volunteers. You can also use custom fields in rosters or as tokens.
To add these fields to the My Profile and Enrollments tab online for volunteers:
- Go to the Web Terminal pane in MSP and click the "Web Terminal settings..." button at the top.
- Click on the Profile Changes section on the left, and then the subsection that will appear for General info.
- Check the last box that says, "Allow volunteers to view and request changes to these custom fields:" and click the field below to select the custom fields you want to make available on the My Profile tab online.
Note: In the same Web Terminal Settings window, you can click on Enrollments on the left, and if you use these forms click on the General info subsection to add the custom fields to the Enrollments for new volunteers interested in serving in a ministry.
To include these fields on rosters:
In the Rosterizer, click on Included Fields and under the "Available fields:" column, un-check the "Show common fields only" box, and your fields will appear in that list.
To use a custom field as a token:
From an email or on a text area of the Web Terminal pane, click the "Token" menu and you will see a section for custom fields, and can insert these tokens as needed to convey information to volunteers.
