Forgot Password to Protect MSP on my Computer


To remove the password, delete the preferences file from the following folder. 

First, close MSP.

On a PC:

  1. Go to your C: drive
  2. Select Users
  3. Select Public
  4. Select Public Documents
  5. Select Ministry Scheduler Pro
  6. Delete the following file: Preferences_V5.mspf

On a Mac:

  1. Open your Finder (you may need to go to File - Preferences and put a check mark next to Devices to see the next step)
  2. Under Devices, click on your Device
  3. Select Macintosh HD
  4. Select Library
  5. Select Application Support
  6. Select Ministry Scheduler Pro
  7. Delete the following file: Preferences_V5.mspf

Then, when you re-open MSP, enter your activation code and it will open without the password.
