To open your SMS account and begin sending text messages to your volunteers, you'll first need to log in to your License Login and go to the "SMS account" page, where you will see this message:
MSP can automatically send text message (SMS) reminders to volunteers two hours before their scheduled services. You can also mass text volunteers through the Announcements pane. Replies to text messages can either be setup to go to a fixed number of your choosing, or in the case of reminders, you can optionally setup replies to go to all the other volunteers that are scheduled at that time!
There is a $0.02 charge for each message sent or received. There are no monthly fees or setup costs, and we'll give you 100 free text messages so you can try out these features at no cost! To get started, click the button below. When the $2 balance runs out, you can replenish your account to continue using the SMS features.
