Update the "From" address used for automatic emails


If you change schedulers or email addresses, it is important to update the "From" address for all emails sent through the Web Terminal (auto-reminders, sub emails, trades, assignments, and enrollments). Doing so ensures that emails are sent from -- and that replies go to -- the correct person.

  1. Go to the Web Terminal pane inside of MSP.
  2. Click on the "Web Terminal settings..." button at the top of the Home tab.
  3. In the settings dialog that opens, click on the "From" Address section on the left. From here you can update the address for automatic emails sent through the Web Terminal

BONUS: You can optionally use separate "From" addresses on a per-ministry basis, so that sub and assignment confirmation emails will come from the email address associated with the ministry in question. Auto-reminder emails will always appear as being from the default address.

To change the "From" address in the Announcements pane, begin to compose an email, click on the drop down in the "From" line.  You can either select from the available addresses or click on "Manage senders..." and click "New" to add a new address.
