MSP Scheduling Tip: Remind volunteers who have not logged in to the Web Terminal

Follow

By sending an email to only people who have not logged in to the Web Terminal you can efficiently remind volunteers of how easy it is to update their availability online and send them special resources to help them get started. This will help new users access the Web Terminal and further reduce data entry work for you!

Step by step: Contact volunteers who have not logged in to the Web Terminal

  1. Start in the Emailer pane. Set up the body of the email to reflect the note you would like to send to your volunteers. Something like,

    "Dear {{FirstName}},

    I noticed you haven't logged in to the Web Terminal and wanted to make sure you had all of the necessary information to access this helpful resource. Click here to watch a video tutorial that explains how to use the Web Terminal. If you have any questions, please let me know!

    {{WebTerminalHomePageLink}}

    Your Username: {{WebTerminalUsername}}
    Your Password: {{WebTerminalPassword}} "

  2. Next to "Send to:" at the top of the Emailer, select "All Volunteers." Then check the "Moreover, only send to volunteers passing this filter" box.
  3. In the "Filter Volunteer list" window, click on "Logins made" under Web Terminal.
  4. On the right, select the options to say, "Have not logged in to the Web Terminal."
  5. Click OK.
  6. You can preview the email before you send it by using the "Preview" button at the top of the Emailer. When you are ready, hit the "Send" button.
