How to tell if a volunteer has been flagged to be scheduled more often than others

If you've adjusted a volunteer's preferred serving frequency, some volunteers may get scheduled more often than other volunteers. This can lead to an unfair distribution of services, which means certain volunteers serve often, while others get left off the schedule completely. Using MSP's filter tool, you can quickly check to see if any volunteers have been flagged to be scheduled more often than others.

  1. Go the List Options section, located in the bottom right corner of the Volunteers pane.
  2. Click on the word "specify..." next to the check box "Other Filter"
  3. In the dialog box that appears, click "Serving frequency" on the left
  4. Set the box on the right to read "Preferred serving frequency not normal." (Make sure the first drop-down menu says "not" and the second says, "normal.")
  5. Click "OK"
