MSP Scheduling Tip: Remove an empty position from a schedule

Keep schedules clutter-free and avoid volunteers signing up for unnecessary roles by getting rid of unneeded positions. If a position is vacant but not needed, remove the vacancy to avoid confusion.

Step by step: How to remove an empty position from a schedule
  1. Open your schedule in the Schedules pane in MSP, and click on the date where the unfilled position appears.
  2. Click on the unfilled position so it is highlighted.
  3. Click on the icon of the person icon at the top of the screen who has a red "X" in front of them. This will remove that position.

Note: Ministry leaders are also able to remove open positions from schedules online!
