Print sign-in sheets for your services to help track attendance

Follow

Tracking attendance is easy with MSP. You can quickly print sign-in sheets for the upcoming weekend and use that information to better manage your ministries. Attendance tracking can help identify which volunteers are helping the most, as well as help identify those volunteers who consistently don't show up.

  1. Open your schedule inside of MSP.
  2. Go to the File menu and select "Export Schedule..."
  3. In the export dialog, under the Layout Settings section, click on the drop-down menu at the top for the layout and change this to "Sign-in sheets with one page for each service." From the options that will appear below, check the one that says "Only export from.." and enter the dates for the upcoming weekend. By exporting just the upcoming weekend, you will always have the most up-to-date schedule information in case swaps have been made.
  4. Click the "Export Schedule" button in the lower right corner of the dialog, and save the sign-in sheets to your computer. You can then print these from your word processing program.

BONUS: If you want to have volunteers sign in electronically, the Sign-In Kiosk is the tool for you (available in MSP's Plus Edition). Using the kiosk, volunteers can sign in when they show up to serve with just a few clicks. Leaders can see exactly who has checked in, both at the service and after the fact, for simple reporting and follow up.
