Use Ctrl and Shift keys to select multiple volunteers at once

Follow

Throughout MSP, you can hold down the "Shift" or "Ctrl" keys to select more than one minister at a time. This can be extremely helpful when editing the same profile information for different ministers, grouping together people for a Preassignment, or sending out emails to a few ministers at a time. Please note on Macs we will want to use the "command" key instead of the "Ctrl" key.

  1. Go to the Ministers/Volunteers pane in MSP
  2. Hold down the "Ctrl" key, and click on each of the ministers to which you want to add the service preference.
  3. Once you have selected everyone, and multiple names are highlighted in blue, click on the "Edit Minister..." button.
  4. You can now click on "Add" next to the service preferences list to add the service preference to all of these ministers, then click OK.
As well, if you wanted to change or add preferences for all of your ministers at once, you can hold down the "Shift" key and select the first name on your list, then scroll to the end of the list and click on the last person. If this does not work, click the first name in the list and drag your mouse cursor to the end of the list to highlight all names.
